$14.25 million settlement

The plaintiff was severely injured and permanently incapacitated as a result of a product defect.

$12.2 million jury verdict

A convenience store allowed a dangerously slippery condition to exist on its sidewalk. The client had no warning of the danger. She slipped on it and fell, and suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result. The jury returned its verdict after seven days of trial.

This was reportedly the largest personal injury jury verdict in Virginia in 2007. Virginia Lawyers Weekly described it as "unprecedented."

$10.2 million jury verdict

The plaintiff was a passenger in a car traveling on an interstate highway. A tractor-trailer rear-ended the car, sending it spinning and rolling. The plaintiff had a prior history of brain injury and suffered additional brain injury. The trial took nine days; the jury returned its verdict on the tenth day.

This was reportedly the largest personal injury verdict in Virginia in 2008.

$7.5 million jury verdict

A tractor-trailer traveling on an interstate highway struck a passenger car driven by the client. The client suffered a brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and other related injuries. The trial took ten days.

This was reportedly the largest personal injury jury verdict in Virginia in 2003.

A tractor-trailer traveling on an interstate highway leaked fuel onto the highway. The client's vehicle, traveling behind the truck, skidded on the oil and crashed. The client suffered a brain injury and orthopedic injuries. The trial took three days.

This was reportedly the largest personal injury jury verdict in Virginia in 2001.

The client was visiting a Pier 1 Store, where she was struck on the head by a piece of falling merchandise. She suffered a brain injury, neck injury, and depression.

This was reportedly the fourth largest personal injury jury verdict in Virginia in 2004.

The client was riding his bicycle. A tractor-trailor struck him and dragged him along the road, causing serious friction burns to his back and leg.

A large truck crashed into the rear of this client's car. The client suffered a traumatic brain injury and orthopedic injuries. This case was litigated in Georgia.

$1.975 million settlement after first day of trial

The client was injured in a car accident. She suffered a brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and carpal tunnel syndrome.

$1.5 million settlement

A refrigerator truck collided with the client's pick-up truck. The client suffered a brain injury and orthopedic injuries.
